Reigning It In

Channeling a bit of a Western feel today, but keeping it sweet and simple.

The jeans, built in bra tank, and pink blouse are from Express. I think this is three (maybe four) days in a row I’ve rocked the built in bra look.

Necklace is from Buffalo Exchange.

My boots are Guess, from Etsy shop Special J Antiques.

Light on the makeup today. Just a bit of Bare Escentuals foundation and a bit of blush.
Happy Friday, Everybody!
I’m so excited for soccer tonight!

I’m still having trouble with twiigs polls and haven’t found another, so how about this….type your answer in the comments section. By the way, you’re not required to register with Disquis to leave a comment, when the box pops up asking you to register, there is an option to skip that step and post as a guest……just sayin’, for those of you who don’t want to deal with that process =)
Thanks for voting!
FINALLY, Some Style
I KNOW, you guys. I’m SORRY.
I’ve just been so busy all day, catching up on some amazingly horrible/creepy/etc. youtube videos.

You know how it is.

Clearly I’m trying to pull some sort of Michael Jackson/Thriller type move. Or SOMEthing. Who knows.

Fabric swatches. Heh.

Make-up half-finished. I did my eyes in the car (not while driving). I’ve only been dyeing the hair for half a year and the ends are starting to dry out. Plus, I need to re-dye soon. Dilemmas!
If you know of any re-hydration treatments that work, leave me a note.
UPDATE: Oops. Totally forgot to let you know where I scored all my threads. Trousers, tank top (built in bra, of course) and shirt are all from Express. Shoes are Steve Madden. Necklace was thrifted at Buff-X. BTW, you guys, that necklace is SO HEAVY. Like seriously, you guys. I gave it to my co-worker to prove it and her eyes bugged out when she felt the weight. I’m thinking about doing some free lifting with it later (no, not really. But point proven, right?)
Stay Away, You Swine!
The country is up in arms against swine these days….that is, one particular vein of swine (that which we like to call Swine Flu). Following suit, the legal department in my office provided all employees with information packets about how to take precautions against illness. It was all a little over the top, in my opinion, including posters in the bathroom on how to prevent “DISEASE!” and little packets filled with hand sanitizer, facial tissue and (best of all) face masks. At least the presentation was nice. I can’t help but be a little proud of the thoughtful ladies that compiled these kits in two color selections (purple or green) and topped all 70 with curled ribbon.

My apologies for the low quality photobooth snaps. Also, for some reason, I just couldn’t manage to pull a serious face in any of these photos. Sincerest apologies, as well, for my lack of outfit posting today. Pictures will be up later, I’ve just been sluggish on the uptake.

Happy Wednesday, Everybody, and don’t forget: Wash your hands for 20 seconds with warm water and soap to save yourself from DISEASE!!!!!!!
Over Exposed

I kind of really liked this shot, and so even though plenty of today’s photos were properly lit, I decided to go with this one. If you’re not a fan of the over-exposed, artsy-ish feel, I apologize. Maybe later I’ll post the others, if the whimsy strikes.
Simple was the name of the game today, so I grabbed these sandals from Costa Rica (gift from the boyfriend), DPD jeans, and a built-in-bra tank top and soft T from Express. The scarf was a sweet thrift find at Thank You Mart in Westwood (you also may remember it referenced as the $3.99 store).
Happy Tuesday Everybody!
